UFO blamed for wrecking wind turbine

This incident is interesting and as usual the conspiracy theorists and UFOlogists are probably going to have a field day with this one!

At least the turkey farmer they interviewed started out with a possible explanation that you could make sense of without too much ducking and diving -
'I have also heard that there was something structurally wrong (with the turbine). If it was frozen and there was a defect, the blade could have shattered.'
It doesn't explain the lights in the sky have a look at the different accounts of the light in the sky -
he saw a bright white light with an orange edge

My wife said it was like the North Star
(It couldn't have been very big then?)
massive ball of light with tentacles going right down to the ground
(Kind of like when the debris from an explosion in the sky falls back to the earth?)

This is quite funny -
'If we are being looked at by other people, by other planets, it would be interesting to find out why they have chosen this part of the country.
