i can vouch for the good 'ol colonic. does wonders for one's, erm, innards. dont know what manner of hocus pocus they attack to what emerges from you dark recesses. i just know it does work for the overstressed suffering with IBS.

I've never heard of 'Rolfing'. I'm not sure I really want to know what it is--it sounds vaguely disgusting.

This is an excellent graphical summary! The use of “Periodic Table” is an apt poke seeing how many of these stupidities keep resurfacing in novel guises.

Rolfing® Structural Integration is the science whereby the body’s soft connective tissue, the fascia, is manipulated through an interactive process of touch, movement and awareness to integrate the whole body in gravity. It brings about more efficient movement and supports greater awareness of embodiment for the client.
st0nes, perhaps you are thinking of “relphing,” which, if you read any further from the above-cited source, is sure to ensue…

rolfing allways made me think of interpretive dancing, with a lot of touchy-feely and floaty body movements.
