Worshipping the Sun since 3000 BCE...

« on: August 13, 2007, 14:14:14 PM »

I hereby accept the appointment of Tarred Turkey Flogger.  My letter of appointment, job description and divine power is confirmed by The Right Honourable Luthun64 as follows:

As my first act of office, I appoint you – Sentinel – to the enviable position of Tarred Turkey Flogger.  Since the position has little heritage, the bounds are a little obscure and from my side you mostly have carte blanche to set the limit on just how hard, frequently and vigorously, and to whom, you or your duly selected delegates apply the tarred turkey treatment.

T.R.H. Wink 'Luthon64

My first commission will be to create Turkey Court.  Here we will decide the fate of individuals who have committed crimes against humanity.

Please submit the name of an offender with a list of alleged crimes for the court to review.

Sentinel, have you considered the possibility of an added penalty for using unjustified and haughty derision as an argument?

Maybe something like roping the offender to a cactus.

Dear Luthon64

We have to be very careful here, if any of the alleged offenders actually provide evidence in support of their claims, I might find myself roped to a cactus. In my defence, I might add that I doubt whether I have ever ridiculed anyone for their beliefs... well, uhm... not without justification, at least! Wink

Considering the propability of the said evidence actually being produced, the motion to rope the offender to a cactus is seconded.

Any proposals for our first offender?
