I just got this press-release, if anyone's keen on listening to an interview with the guy:

Webcomic Creator Randall Munroe to Appear on Skeptically Speaking

EDMONTON, AB – 9/29/2009: Skeptically Speaking, the world's first skeptical call-in talk show, today announced that it will wrap up its 2009 fundraising campaign with an interview featuring Randall Munroe, creator of the webcomic xkcd. Munroe will appear live on Friday, October 2nd, at 6 pm Mountain Time.

"xkcd is unapologetically aimed right at science geeks and skeptical folks," said host Desiree Schell.  "It's as nerdy as comics get, and also completely hilarious. We're all big fans, and we're very excited to have Randall on the show."

Skeptically Speaking urges its audience to call in and question everything. Listeners can call 780-492-2577, to ask questions or speak personally to Randall Munroe, and to each week's guest.

Skeptically Speaking is produced at CJSR, a community radio station located on the Edmonton campus of the University of Alberta. Munroe's appearance will anchor Skeptically Speaking's participation in FunDrive, their annual fundraising campaign. This year's FunDrive has featured interviews with Adam Savage, of the Discovery Channel show “Mythbusters,” and Brian Malow, science comedian and video essayist for Time Magazine.

Skeptically Speaking is a pretty kickass podcast too... worth a listen.
