It is called "spin". Enough time and effort to think up excuses, I can make Hitler look like an angel. In the end you still have to produce proof, and since they are making the claim, the burden of proof is on them. In my experience, they (believers)can't understand that, or they use the Bible as proof. While in teacher training collage we had a book of "proofs" for Christianity. Not one of those proofs would convince a 7 year old if he/she was not a person desperate for proof in the first place.

Indeed. The whole entry on
Atheism
is from start to end one of the most arrogantly self-serving pieces of partisan nonsense I have come across in a long time. Still, it makes an excellent piece of text with which to play games of “Spot the Unwarranted Inference.”
