New guy, first post.
Here is a weird aura ghost thing that I caught on film the other day while I was kick-starting my bike. The bike's previous owner died under odd circumstances and apparently really loved this bike.

Ghost spirit watching over its bike?

(I tried to embed the video but couldn't get it to work, sorry.) ghost aura caught on film

Acoustic resonance, maybe? What was supporting your camera at the time - tripod, book, empty cooky tin?

Cell phone going off? Something in your pocket? Seems to get worse as you get nearer to the camera.

Definitely not a ghost. Most "ghosts" are how we interpret things we see according to preconceived ideas in our minds. In this case the disturbance on the video clip is mis-interpreted as a "ghost" because of the thought that "the previous owner died" and a lack of investigative skeptical ability.

There is a light shining from just over the seat. Diffiult to see when the bike is standing still. The vibration caused when the bike is running makes this light shine intermittently over the seat. What did you adjust when you got off the bike, some type of choke or idle speed; that would explain the change in vibration rate when you moved away from the bike directly afterwards. The only thing strange about that clip is why someone would bother to record it. Does it happen everytime the bike is started?

I agree, this explanation is much more plausible.

Hey - I get it. The dude wanted to video his bike with the sun behind it - cool. Must be something like the way guitarists feel about their guitars. In fact if you look at my avatar (yes, the cool Yamaha AE500 jazz guitar to your left) you will see an "angel aura" just above and to the right of the strap. It's a miracle!!!

In my day bikes had magnetos and it looked like the pulses started when the engine was running...magnetic pulses affecting the camera maybe?

Hmm, I recall in my child years the ignition systems of (older) cars passing by in the street affecting the broadcast signal in a very similar way to what you see here. Could simply be electromagnetic interference being generated by the ignition system of the bike (It does look pretty old).

i allso think its the vibes of the bike, and the sun coming accross the seat.  if it was a ghost, it would be present all the time, even if the bike was not running.  it would freak out the camera from the get-go.
but looks really cool tho.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Right now I'm trying to duplicate the video.  So far the light thing seems to be the best idea, but I can't replicate it.  Some people think that it is EMF, but I'd be able to see that on the other videos of the bike, right?
