People wil be inclined to see and believe phenomena and happenings according to their memes . And if these are a favourable for superstition then that is the way they will iterpret it - God decided!  In my mind factors and vectors  decided the idols outcome. But that "decision" was not a conscious one.  In fact you cannot call it a decision;  it is a consequential outcome. All things happen because before them other things happened.
