I have slowed down on being drunk. Will make exceptions with combined birthdays once a year. 3 family members, son included have birthdays a week apart in July we stock up on tequila bcos we all love the stuff, its cold, you can drink a lot and talk earnestly amongst yourselves about the Meaning of Life, why scarves have so many holes in them and hey, where's this bloody cold winter everyone's braggin' about - we're nice and toasty out here on the back lawn our fandangles are frozen beyond solid and we are basking inna warm, fuzzy tequila glow at 3am. Cool! Now and then I announce Martooni evenings - homemade martinis, they rock. However, friends and family for some reason are reluctant to indulge me on this one.  Could be bcos no-one remembers what happened the night before when they surface the next day?  Pubs cannot make martinis.

Durban Skeptics in the Pub.

Yes, even Durban has one - and we welcome anyone to join us for good skeptical fun.

Our event is held on the third Thursday of the month at Pizzetta Piazzaria in Davenport.
The venue happens to run a half price cocktail special on that night, so adequate levels of lubrication can be achieved without the pain of too great an investment.
