I'm not so sure you're talking to me steve. But hey, to continue the trend, they can always just call us caring animal-loving atheists:

just kinda wondering.  if the big G made all things.  that would include Fluffy and Cuddles.  Surely He wouldnt submit them to a slow death of starvation and neglect, when their saved owners ascend into the clouds?
what kind of a sicko mind would put HIs own creations through such a horrible end?
I know the suffering for your faith thing, is quite big with G.  Recently enough, like, the holocaust....

But what the hell did the poodles of the world do to deserve being alone in a desolate, and im sure, scorched to shit world.  afraid, alone, hungry, cold....
I would burn in hell any day, knowing I could provide a safe, warm, secure home for my pets till the very end.  Or at least spare them the agony.  and not leave them behind to die of hunger, selfish bastards.
and be it God, or the decrepid little masochist child next door, you hurt my pets, I will kick your ass brother!

I think atheists would make much better Gods than God  Evil
Even the Christian's other deity, the Devil, would make a better God than God.  Grin

He's done it before.   Remember all the fluffies and cuddles that did not fit onto Noah's ark?

God is a right bastard. This we know. Nevermind all the animals, if God created atheists, what about us then?

It's all just practice for this "Rapture" thing you keep hearing about. Someone should tell this god that casting stones, including tectonic plates, is reserved for those without sin...

This is why I told that Christian who sent me the invite to the "Post-Rapture Pets" site that the company we will share after the Rapture will be a lot better than Pre-Rapture. All fuzzy dogs/cats/horses and yes ... intelligent, well educated people who were not doff enough to be deceived into Christianity.  Tongue

Bummer though, according to fundamental doctrine the Pope won't be going on the Rapture because he's Catholic (weeell, he was the last time I checked) and of course, Catholics can't be real Christians coz look what they did during the crusades and shit they even pray to Mary who isn't God and ... and ... Wait. Actually on 144000 male virgins get to go according to Revelations. Bummer, we'd still be stuck with a lot of really pissed-off Christians. Maybe we should have that bonfire after all and put the failed Christians on it because they gave us false hope about them buggering off in the Rapture.

Gothcatgirl - I tried to write the above in your really cool style, but I obviously don't have it. Will you give it a try please?

Actually, Catholics are heretics and idolaters by the standards of Protestants (and vice versa), which is the reason each side thinks the other will be going to the Great Pizza Oven Down Below.  The essential difference is that in Roman Catholicism, Church tradition together with the absolute authority of the Holy See on matters of hermeneutics and scriptural interpretation are the primary determinants of doctrine and ritual, whereas in Protestantism these are matters to be decided through individual contemplation.  This is why there are nearly 40,000 recognised flavours of Christianity.
