These posts seem to be from the same type of person as our famous David Mabus - and could even be him too.
Anyway - it's just my thoughts on these posts. Any ideas?
Nah, it seems more like an Afrikaans person with a potato smell to me

What is the deal with potatoes? It seems strange to me. If I was to associate a vegetable with Afrikaners it would be maize or something like that. I know that being referred to as a pumpkin is traditionally insulting, but why potatoes?

It could be an obscure reference to Angus Buchan (of Faith Like Potatoes fame) of whom it has been said that he has given many South African men, Afrikaans men in particular, a sense of purpose and identity with his Mighty Men initiatives.

Or maybe that potatoes are "of the earth" and smell like soil. Saying someone is "of the earth" is a nicer way of saying "not too bright", or a "bit earthy". Could also be a reference to the Irish who are also known for being raised on potatoes and not being very intelligent. Please Jane of the Jungle - put us out of our speculative misery

I somehow assumed that the potato was our national fruit. It seems that the humble tuber has come to represent anything that crosses swords with the mighty pansy on South African soil. With plain cut, mashed and jacketed representing some of the sects. And then we haven't even started on the seasonings.

Go potatoes! I just don't see how anyone could actually hope to start a revolution with that... It might make for a pretty funny B-grade horror movie though: "Night Of The Killer Potatoes!"

Sorry all, had a crazy day...... Yes I am of the opinion and won’t be surprised if Undertaker Sun belongs to Angus's fan club, because unfortunately I get into contact with these kind of people daily. They got stuck in the “old” South Africa, in the same way they can’t get out of their religious and Superstitious “believes”. Their minds are set in such Negativity that they are simply unable to see a future! Sad to say, been there done that, know the symptoms and that of the people surrounding me then and now! As long as people belief their prayers would bring relief and change (like the ones I receive by email ), rather than, lift their budz and actually start doing something to improve the situation, nothing would change! It is in their nature to blame someone, there always have to be someone else to blame! The fact that they themselves didn’t do anything at all, are simply put out of mind! Starting at voting stations.......if they even bother! But that .........many of them won’t admit or are unable to see!

Mefi is right ..... sorry I must of rather said it straight away Nah, it was more fun speculating. The truth is actually kind of depressing. Still, potatoes are inherently funny vegetables and there's sacks full of available material.
