This is over here in off-topic, only because I think it's just so bizarre it must be shared.

This poor guy got robbed, and got into an altercation with his assailant, but managed to remove an (alleged) gun from the burglar, when police pitched up and mistook the actual owner for the burglar, restrained him, and WHILE he was being restrained by the cops, he was stabbed to death by the real burglar.

This is not only insanely sad, but just a bizarre story, and you can't even really blame the cops... how should they know who is legit and who isn't?
