The Barlow spreads Saturn's light out over a larger area, so the bottom pic appears overexposed whereas the top one is about right. Both appear equally in focus, though.
Thanks but how do I solve the overexposed problem on the webcam. Moon filter?

P, Tv, Av, A-Dep of M?

More.

New improved Dead Syringa Observatory (now with bird feeder, rain guage and shade net for Clivias Cheesy) is kinda compact: Inside floor is 2.30m x 2.30m , and wall height is 1.65m.

Moon Canon camera through scope.
Saturn webcam.
Saturn Canon through scope.
Progress but still focus! In my favour the seeing was not good, and the Moon was quite low.

Love that last shot of Saturn, diminutive, hanging in that huge expanse of black. Somehow seeing it look so small underscores the vastness better than a more magnified or traditionally spectacular shot does.

Daai is 'n enkel foto.

Aside from lurking here and periodically checking up on what ya'll are up to. I have to say this is all pretty neat and keep doing it all concerned. Smiley

IMHO seeing Saturn though a 'real live' telescope, as an experience, is definitely something that doesn't translate well into picture. But I find it super cool that an amateur can get up to these shenanigans nonetheless.

My Bahtinov masker 2.0.
